Monopodial epiphytes. Stem short. Leaves few, distichous, sheathing at the base, glabrous, deciduous, duplicate. Inflorescence lateral, a few-flowered raceme. Flowers relatively large, white, resupinate. Sepals free, broad. Petals similar to the sepals. Lip 3-lobed, with a very long slender spur, without callosities, not mobile. Column-foot very short. Pollinia 2, with a short slit, solid, caudicles present, stipe present, longer than the pollinia, viscidium present.
Distribution
The Philippines, endemic, 3 species, which are doubtfully distinct.

Luzon (Mt. Province, Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya, Albay), Mindoro.
Habitat
Epiphytes in montane forest.
Notes
Amesiella is easily recognised by the long-spurred, attractive, white flowers, which parallel many African orchids in size, colour, and shape. It is frequently cultivated by amateurs.
