Small monopodial epiphytes. Stem elongated, with many distichous leaves. Leaves laterally flattened, sheathing at the base, glabrous, deciduous, duplicate. Inflorescence lateral, short, few-flowered. Flowers small, apparently not resupinate, yellowish with a white lip. Sepals free. Petals narrower. Lip spurred, three-lobed, mid-lobe heart-shaped; not mobile, spur compressed, slightly emarginate at the apex. Column-foot absent. Pollinia 2, solid, caudicles absent, stipe present, viscidium present.

Epiphytes in lower montane forest.
Notes
The Philippine member of this genus is a rather rare and inconspicuous little plant, characterised by the laterally flattened, fleshy leaves and short inflorescences carrying a few whitish, spurred flowers.
